Why??

I was on the bus today, and a child was standing on the seat instead of sitting down, and the mom said, "sit down", and the daughter replied "Why?" And the mother pulled out the classic "Because I said so". I almost started to laugh, I don't know why, but it was just really funny to me! How many of you have had that said to them at some point in time? I know I have!!
