I used to despise getting up early, I absolutely dreaded the days when I had to set my alarm clock earlier than 9:00. But now, my feelings are quite the opposite! I love getting up early, especially in the summer when the sun is up to greet me! I wake up about 5:30 now and it makes the day so much longer and I'm much more productive throughout the day. I simply have a better day when I have a few hours to myself before I have to get to work or school. It's simply wonderful! I constantly have the song 'Good Morning Life' by Dean Martin stuck in my head, I want sing it as I come into work (too bad my life isn't a musical):

Kind of silly, but the morning and this song make me happy! Although I'm not looking to any gal to be my wife...The love of my life is my Father and we never have to part! Now that's something to sing about!!!

Annarose, this is delightful. I woke up at 5am this morning and realized that it was light out... I never wake up until 8 or 9! I totally felt like I was missing out. I want to hear that song now.

I slept in this morning until 7:30 and boy let me tell you, not having my wake up time, and not being able to go through my little routine, is not fun! I feel like I've missed so much and I'm not nearly as awake as I usually am. :(
you inspired me anna! normally i wake up around noon - a true summer lazier i am, but tomorrow i will set my alarm for 6. that way i can be productive tomorrow morning in the light instead of stay up late tonight and work in the dark. :)
